Be prepared for "Newsies" to seize the weekend, and your heart! Extra, extra, read all about it! Congratulations to all 4th-8th grade students cast in Acting Out!'s production. Disney's "Newsies Jr.," is coming to the Ottawa Hills Theatre stage next weekend! Show dates: - February 6 at 7 p.m.

"Newsies Jr." is a high-energy musical inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899. When newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense, a spirited group of young newsies bands together to stand up for what's right. Led by the determined Jack Kelly, the kids discover the power of friendship, courage and using their voices to make a difference. Filled with upbeat songs, lively dance numbers and an inspiring message, "Newsies Jr." is a fun, uplifting show for audiences of all ages. Rated G. |

 | A message from Dr. Fineske I evaluate expected conditions at the start of the school day and consider the following factors: - Road conditions throughout the village
- Temperatures or wind chills of -15 to -20 degrees or below
- Our operations team’s ability to clear school sidewalks
- Our operations team’s ability to ensure safe, warm and functioning buildings
I understand that school delays and cancellations create challenges for families. Please know that these decisions are never made lightly, and student and staff safety must be the top priority. |
Update your PowerSchool settings to ensure you receive SchoolMessenger delay and closing alerts. Tips, links (including to the mobile app for PowerSchool), and directions for updating your notifications can be found on our website. |
