 | Join us Jan. 9 for Coffee & Conversations Join us for coffee, conversation and community connection! District leadership invites you to learn about the future of student technology and device replacement plans, and ask questions in a casual setting on Friday, Jan. 9 at 8:30 a.m. in the district conference room (4035 W. Central Ave.). Superintendent Dr. Adam Fineske will provide a brief district update, Treasurer/CFO Tom Siloy will review district financials, and Director of Technology Trevor Hug will present on student devices and technology use in the district. |

 | Grateful for grants This school year the Treasurer's Office has secured more than $98,283 in grant funding. This funding will be used towards planned safety and security upgrades on campus, as well as cybersecurity enhancements. Treasurer/CFO Tom Siloy presented the November financial report to the Board of Education at the December meeting. View the financial presentation and report for November below.  | Tickets on sale now for Disney's "Newsies Jr." Extra, extra, read all about it! Congratulations to all 4th-8th grade students cast in Acting Out!'s production of Disney's "Newsies Jr.," coming to the Ottawa Hills Theatre stage in February 2026. Show dates are: - February 6 at 7 p.m.
- February 7 at 2 and 7 p.m.
- February 8 at 2 p.m.
"Newsies Jr." is a high-energy musical inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899. When newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense, a spirited group of young newsies bands together to stand up for what's right. Led by the determined Jack Kelly, the kids discover the power of friendship, courage and using their voices to make a difference. Filled with upbeat songs, lively dance numbers and an inspiring message, "Newsies Jr." is a fun, uplifting show for audiences of all ages. Rated G. |

| Alumni gathering in NYC Ottawa Hills alumni will be gathering for a special event in New York City on January 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Stella 34 Trattoria & Bar. The evening will include a special performance by the Ottawa Hills Choraliers. Alumni wishing to attend must RSVP to Director of Development Erica Silk by Jan. 6 at esilk@ohschools.org.

OHBBO invites you to the inaugural meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. in the jr./sr. high school library (upstairs right above the main office). All are welcome!
