Thank you for helping our students bloom! Smiles sprouted across campus this week as we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. The Ottawa Hills Schools Parent Association organized a weeklong celebration to show gratitude to the dedicated teachers and staff who help our students bloom. OHSPA coordinated something special each day, including a gift card drawing and a staff luncheon at each building. Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff and to our outstanding OHSPA support organization! |

"Big Sing" kicks off concert season Last Sunday, the inaugural "Big Sing" concert brought together elementary and junior/senior high school students in a collaborative choral showcase. Led by elementary music teacher Kimburly Manchur and junior/senior high vocal music director Hayley Hoss, the event featured combined choir performances of "Pure Imagination" and "A Million Dreams," alongside selections by the Brown Bag Chorus, Jr. Chorale and Choraliers. Accompanist Jeff Manchur provided musical support throughout the performance. The "Big Sing" was was a celebration of the arts, student achievement, and the collaborative spirit that defines Ottawa Hills. We look forward to making this a new tradition in the years to come! Upcoming concerts - Tuesday, May 13: JHHS Choir Concert, 7:30 p.m.

| Carnival countdown: 1 week away! The annual Ottawa Hills Schools Parent Association Spring Carnival will take place Friday, May 16, from 6-8 p.m. on the fields outside the elementary school. The event will feature games, bounce houses, music and food trucks, including Chick-fil-A's new food truck. Special guests include Rocky and Rocksy from the University of Toledo, the Green Bear, roaming acrobats and jugglers, plus a dunk tank. Admission is $20 at the door. Rain date is Monday, May 19. |
