 | Rose’s Message Dear Families, The safety of our students is always our top priority. Recently, we have observed several unsafe behaviors during arrival and dismissal, including drivers attempting to go around stopped vehicles in the car line, vehicles speeding through the crosswalk going out to Indian Road, and parents not using the crosswalk in front of the office doors to walk their children to and from the parking lot. These actions place students, families, and staff at serious risk. Please observe the following safety measures when dropping and picking up your child: If you park in the parking lot, cross over to the school building by using the crosswalk in front of the office doors both going to get your child and bringing them back to the parking lot. Do not cross from the parking lot through the carline at any other spot. While in the car line, please be patient and stay in the line until you exit onto Indian Road. Watch your speed after your child enters or exits your car as you exit the drive onto Indian Road. We have students and parents crossing the carline drive at Indian Road. These pedestrians have the right of way and vehicles should stop and allow them to cross.
These procedures are designed to improve traffic flow and, most importantly, ensure the safety of our students and families. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work together to create a safer environment for everyone. Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to student safety.
