Let’s Build Beds Event

April 4, 2026

On Saturday, April 4, the Ottawa Hills community is coming together to build beds for area families in need. This event is being organized by the student group Toledo Smiles and students from all grade levels, who will be partnering with Let’s Build Beds for a morning of meaningful community service.

From 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., student and adult volunteers will work together at the Junior/Senior High School to build beds for area families. If you are interested in supporting this mission, you can make a donation of any amount through the Ottawa Hills Schools Foundation by clicking this link. These funds will be used specifically for construction supplies and bedding materials, including mattresses, sheet sets, and pillows. All funds collected will be donated to Let’s Build Beds to ensure every child has a comfortable place to rest. When making a donation online, please include “Let’s build Beds” in the comments section.
