Happy New Year, Families!
We were excited to welcome our students back this week and begin a new year of learning, growth, and connection. Thank you for your continued partnership and support—we look forward to a wonderful year ahead filled with curiosity, kindness, and success for all our students.
Early Release
Jan. 16, is a planned early release for all students at 1 p.m., to allow collaborative planning time for our teachers and staff. Elementary students will be dismissed as follows:
12:40 p.m.: Kindergarten released
12:45 p.m.: Loading Den released
12:50 p.m.: All walkers released
Monday, Jan. 19, all school buildings will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Enjoy the long weekend.
Cold and Flu Season Reminder As we continue through the cold and flu season, we kindly ask families to help keep our school community healthy by keeping children home when they are ill. Students should remain home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms that may interfere with learning or spread illness.
Your child may return to school after being symptom-free with no medication for 24 hours. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of all students and staff.
Cold Weather Reminders
Students will go outside when the wind chill and or temperature is above 18°F. To play in the snow, they must wear snow pants and change into boots. Students who do not have the appropriate clothing will be directed to remain on the blacktop during recess.
