Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23. There will be no school for students on those days.

Sign ups for conferences will go out on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:00pm.

Conference FAQs:

Q: Will you send me a piece of paper to sign up for conferences?

A: No, we are entirely electronic.

Q: What if I click all of the boxes, but I never received an email from the website allowing me to sign up?

A: First, check your spam account for an email from PTCfast.com. Next, try again with your email or an alternative email you use in your family. If that still does not work, call the main office and we can help you out.

Q: What if a teacher I want to meet with does not have any open conference times that work for me?

A: Please contact that teacher directly to schedule a time outside of the standard conference dates/times. Emails for all employees in the district are the first letter of their first name, their entire last name, @ohschools.org. For example: Amanda Neuendorf aneuendorf@ohschools.org

Q: Do I need to meet with all of my student's teachers at the Jr./Sr. High School?

A: It is completely up to you.  Although very helpful for parent/teacher communication, these are not required conferences.

Q: Do I need to meet with second semester teachers at the Jr./Sr. High School?

A: We highly recommend waiting to meet with second semester teachers until your student is in those classes.

Q: Does my student need to attend?

A: Students only need to attend upon request of the teacher.

Q: Will I be reminded of these conferences?

A: Yes! The website will send automatic reminders two days before conferences.

The new official league logo, along with logos from each member school, now adorns the south wall of the gym. Special thanks to the Ottawa Hills Athletic Boosters, Cindy Nissen, and Athletic Director Ryan Wronkowicz for bringing the wall display to life.  Congratulations, Jessica!

Ottawa Hills Arts Directors Take the Stage in Come From Away

At Ottawa Hills Junior/Senior High School, we take tremendous pride in the exceptional talent and dedication of our faculty. This season, two of our very own performing arts leaders are practicing what they teach in a truly remarkable way.

Vocal Music Director Hayley Hoss and Theater Director Grace Wipfli are both starring in separate regional productions of Come From Away, the deeply moving, critically acclaimed musical that tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in small-town Newfoundland in the wake of September 11, 2001.

Hayley Hoss is taking the stage with The Village Players Theatre in Toledo, stepping into the role of Janice, the eager rookie news reporter navigating an unprecedented world event on her very first days on the job. Meanwhile, Grace Wipfli is performing at The Croswell Opera House in Adrian, Michigan, starring as Beverley Bass, the pioneering female airline captain who delivers the iconic musical number Me and the Sky.

Come From Away is a powerful testament to human resilience, kindness, and community—values we strive to instill in our students every day. Seeing Ms. Hoss and Ms. Wipfli bring these inspiring stories to life on local stages is an incredible reminder of the world-class talent guiding our arts programs.

Head out to the theater, support local arts, and cheer on our directors as they shine!  Both shows run through September 20.
