It is no accident that interest in the sport at Ottawa Hills continues to grow." Coach Nixon will be formally recognized at the Ohio Association of Track & Cross Country (OATCCC) clinic, taking place January 29–31 at the Columbus Easton Hotel. Congratulations, Jeremy! Ottawa Hills Bands Ring in the Season It was an evening of musical magic and holiday cheer! Director Michael Leeds welcomed the Ottawa Hills community for the annual Winter Band Concert. Our talented students showcased their hard work with a program that mixed traditional carols with cinematic favorites. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the season with friends and family. The Concert Band kicked off the festivities with a spirited lineup, including the playful "March of the Magical Toys" and the nostalgic "Somewhere in My Memory." Audiences also enjoyed the clever "The Name’s Claus... Santa Claus" alongside "Christmas Bits and Pieces" and the energetic "Carol of the Bells." The Symphonic Band took the stage to perform a diverse repertoire, ranging from the hauntingly beautiful "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" to the spooky fun of "The Nightmare Before Christmas." The evening featured the tender "Away in a Manger" and concluded with the ultimate holiday classic, Leroy Anderson’s "Sleigh Ride."
