"Calder Café" celebrates art The elementary school gym was transformed into the "Calder Café" this week for the annual Art Fair. Alexander Calder was an American artist and sculptor famous for incorporating movement into his work. Students in grades K-6 had artwork displayed throughout the building. A special thanks to OHSPA for sponsoring the event and to all the volunteers who made it possible—especially art teachers Mrs. Bodziak and Wendi Danzeizen, and Art Fair committee chair Mrs. Meade. |

| Pedestrian Safety Week is March 10-14 This a great time of year to remind ourselves how to share the roadways safely. - Walk facing traffic; bike and scooter with traffic.
- Cross at crosswalks and always look left, right, and left again.
- Follow road signs when biking or scootering. Equip bikes and scooters with front lights and red rear lights or reflectors.
- Drivers: Stay alert! Avoid distractions like cell phones and earbuds—it’s the law.
- At night, wear bright, reflective clothing and carry a flashlight to stay visible.
All are welcome to join for a village stroll on Tuesday, Mar. 11, at 7 p.m. Walkers, dogs, and strollers are welcome for this one-mile family walk. Meet at the high school flag pole and dress to be seen! The OH Boosters will sell pizza and goodies before and after. |
