Ottawa Hills High School Named Jostens 2025 National Yearbook Program of Excellence

Jostens, the leading producer of yearbooks and student content, has awarded the Mesasa yearbook program at Ottawa Hills High School the Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence 2025 award at the Gold Level. This honor recognizes yearbooks that engage and represent the entire student body, while helping students develop essential 21st-century skills like communication and collaboration.

The award-winning program is led by co-editors Hannah Chernow, Claire Rotman, and Vaughn Mackey, under the guidance of yearbook adviser Hayley Hoss.

“The Mesasa staff worked incredibly hard to produce a high-quality yearbook that represents the entire student body,” said Hoss. “We see the yearbook as an important archive of the amazing events, clubs, and activities throughout the school year, with every student featured at least once and over 95% included multiple times.”

Jostens’ National Yearbook Program of Excellence Awards are presented biannually based on the yearbook’s arrival date.
