| Hello Green Bear Families, Now that warmer weather has returned, more students are walking and biking to school. As you drive through the school zone, please be mindful of this and reduce your speed to 20 mph and always drive cautiously while on campus. Students have been instructed to cross Indian Rd. only with Ms. Shelly, our crossing guard, before and after school, for their safety. Although a crosswalk is painted at the corner of Indian Rd. and Ashborne Pl., students are NOT permitted to cross there. Your reinforcement of this message at home is greatly appreciated. We hope you have a wonderful break and look forward to seeing our students back on Tuesday, March 25. |

| Let's pull together In memory of Dr. Bauer's daughter, Charley, we will be collecting pull tabs from aluminum cans to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Tabs can be collected in any clean container and added to the large orange box near the elementary main office. RMHC is paid by recycling companies for the aluminum and uses the funds to purchase meals for families using their programs. Our goal is to collect 42 gallons of pull tabs by May 30, the end of the school year. |
