Cross country teams crowned District Champions The girls' and boys' cross country teams are the District Champions. The teams advance to compete at Regionals in Tiffin, Ohio this Saturday, Oct. 26. Good luck Green Bears! A reminder that OH Booster Passes are NOT accepted as these athletic events are run by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). |

Students of the Month Congratulations to the October Students of the Month: junior Bryn Tangeman, sophomore Winnie Lin, 8th grader Abby Chow, and senior Vaughn Mackey! Students of the month are chosen by a committee of faculty and staff at the JHHS for excelling in citizenship, community service, extracurricular, leadership, scholarship, sportsmanship, and/or commitment. The students are recognized by the Board of Education and featured in the neighborhood magazine, Stroll. Bryn is involved in tennis, lacrosse, LLS student candidate, Home to Home, Volunteer Focus, AFS, and Challenge Crew. Winnie’s activities include tennis, Diversity Club, French Club, Volunteer Focus, Origami Club, and Challenge Crew. Abby is involved in basketball, Science Olympiad, Makwa, Power of the Pen, Environmental Club, Youth to Youth, Bear Pause, and Junior Chorale. Vaughn’s activities include soccer, student council, and Mesasa where he is the editor-in-chief. |
