| Grant helps offset safety enhancements In collaboration with the treasurer's office and district grants committee, the district applied for safety grant funds through the Ohio Attorney General’s Safety Grant and was recently awarded $4,636. Additionally, the district applied for a $40,000 safety grant through the same office and is awaiting approval, with a decision expected by June. These funds will help offset the cost of planned safety upgrades included in the district’s five-year permanent improvement plan. Enhancements at both the junior/senior high school and elementary school include installing 3M shatterproof film on exterior doors and upgrading security cameras. |
