| Hello Green Bear Families, Your weekly Green Bear Bulletin is arriving on Thursday this week as we have no school for students tomorrow, Feb. 14. A reminder that our teachers and staff will be participating in a reunification drill with our junior/senior high school, in partnership with area law enforcement, during their teacher in-service day on Feb. 14. Don't forget that the following Monday, Feb. 17, there is no school in observance of Presidents' Day. Last Friday, Dr. Bauer emailed elementary families to inform you that he would be taking a leave of absence, which began this week. I have returned to the elementary building full-time as interim principal. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Have a great long weekend, |

| A message from Nurse Baird The health office continues to see students who are out sick with viral illnesses. This includes influenza A as well as other viruses that spread easily through coughing or sneezing. Our maintenance team has been diligent cleaning classrooms, including using the Clorox 360 machine, and recently installed hand sanitizing stations for students to use as they enter the lunchroom. It is important for parents to remember the following: Students should not attend school unless they have been free from the following symptoms for 24 hours: - fever (without the use of fever reducing medication)
- vomiting/diarrhea
Please consider helping your student clean frequently used items, such as their lunch bag and keyboard, with a Clorox wipe, to help prevent the spread of illnesses. |
