News From the Ottawa Hills Board of Education
Ottawa Hills Board of Education Member Katie Timmers will be stepping down for personal reasons, effective May 21, 2026. We are grateful to Mrs. Timmers for her more than two years of service to Ottawa Hills Local Schools, including her significant work on the Finance/Audit and Policy/Legislative committees.
To fill the vacancy created by Mrs. Timmers' resignation, the Board of Education is seeking applicantions from Ottawa Hills residents. Applicants must be registered voters residing within the district, be at least 18 years of age and meet all legal requirements of school board service under Ohio Revised Code.
Letters of interest are due by noon on May 1, 2026, to Treasurer/CFO Tom Siloy at tsiloy@ohschools.org. The board will vote on the appointment at its June 4, 2026, retreat, where the newly appointed member will be sworn in to a term running through Dec. 31, 2027.
