OHES Halloween Parade All students released for lunch and costume change on Friday, Oct. 31, from 11:00-12:30 p.m. The Halloween parade will take place on Friday, October 31, from 12:45–1:30 p.m. What time do I drop off my Green Bear? Please plan to drop your child off at the normal time (not dressed in costume) on Friday, Oct. 31 at 8:00 a.m. Who leads the parade? Mr. Leeds and the OHHS Marching Band and 6th graders will lead the students out the front doors in this order: 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and Kindergarten. What is the parade route and where can I watch? Please refer to the Parade Route Map. Parents are invited to observe the parade anywhere along the streets, but please keep a safe distance from the students. For student safety, the Ottawa Hills Police Department will supervise, barricade, and close the school parking lot and streets (Manchester, Hempstead, and Darlington) to traffic. What about families who do not wish to observe Halloween? There will be an alternative fall activity offered in the afternoon for any students who do not participate in Halloween. Please notify your child’s classroom teacher so we can direct them to the Wondry. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher or the elementary office at 419-536-8329. Thank you for helping us with this annual Halloween tradition! |
