January 2026 Happy New Year! We hope you had a chance to rest, relax, and spend meaningful time with family and friends over our long winter break. First-semester grades will be finalized in Powerschool by the end of this week. Physical copies of grade cards are available upon request at that time. Additionally, we ask any unpaid fees and outstanding balances to be addressed by January 15.
In the coming weeks, several important meetings will take place regarding CCP (College Credit Plus) and college planning for parents of current juniors. School counselor Crystal Burnworth and Dr. Bill Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, will lead these meetings. Dates and times for these events are listed below.
We encourage you to show your school spirit and support our Green Bears at home basketball games and area swim meets. Be sure to check the school website or follow OH Boosters on Twitter and Instagram for updates. Lastly, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support from the Athletic Boosters, Ottawa Hills Schools Foundation, Ottawa Hills Music and Theater Association (OHMTA), and OH Band Boosters (OHBBO). The time, effort, and resources these organizations provide create incredible opportunities and enhancements for our students and community. Stay safe and healthy! Best Regards, Ben McMurray, principal |
