 | Fiscal year recap and summer PI projects The district exceeded financial expectations last fiscal year, carrying over $1.06 million in general fund dollars. Our fiscal year 2025 ending cash on hand was 57 days, above our goal but below our board policy guidelines. We will continue seeking cost savings to strengthen our financial position. Several permanent improvement projects were completed this summer, including music room renovations at both buildings, bathroom improvements, and safety and security upgardes, as part of our five-year PI plan.  | OH Booster BBQ Last school year the OH Boosters provided more than $75,000 in financial contributions towards athletic programs at for the junior and senior high school. Help kick of the school year with them at the annual BBQ on Friday, Aug. 22, 5-7 p.m. - Purchase tickets here by Aug. 19 in advance. Limited meal tickets will be available for purchase at the BBQ.
The Bear Cave will be having a flash sale on all spirit wear inventory during the BBQ as they move to being a fully ONLINE store soon. |

 | Back to School 5K and Green Bear 1 Miler The annual Back to School 5K run/walk and Green Bear 1 Miler will take place Sunday, Aug. 24.  | OHMTA The Ottawa Hills Music & Theatre Association supports elementary and junior/senior high school students by funding choral, band and theatre programs as well as arts enrichment opportunities.
