OHbreathe welcomes panelists during Black History Month
OHbreathe is a student-led initiative to address student wellness. The purpose is to influence positive transformation in the junior/senior high school through inspiring monthly workshops and speakers. Last week OHbreathe presented a panel discussion focusing on Black Excellence. Thank you to the panelists for sharing insights into their personal journeys, career paths, and life experiences.
Meet the Panelists: Sonia McNair, CEO and founder of Sonia Organics, spoke about entrepreneurship. Brandon Carter, not only a paraprofessional but also the head football coach at OHHS, spoke on leadership and dedication. Jera Stewart, the owner of Jera’s Heavenly Sweets located near UT, shared her entrepreneurial journey, inspiring young minds with her passion and determination. Jade Nelson, an officer with the Ottawa Hills Police Department, spoke on the importance of community service and law enforcement.
